Skip it The connection is no consistent. Sometimes it charges but if you get it to work, do not touch it. It also matters which way you plug it into device. It's not like typical lightning plug where there is no wrong way to plug it in.

Works for a while then ... I bought a handful of these but they stopped charging/synching because it's not MFi (Made for iPad/iPhone) - lacking Apple proprietary chip on 'Lightning' connector.

(Apple original cost $19 which is not inexpensive.)
